Meet Rhamel: The Backbone of Our Warehouse Audio Operations

At AFPC, our team members are the driving force behind every successful event, and today, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our key players—Rhamel. As an audio technician in our warehouse, Rhamel plays an essential role in ensuring that all of our gear is meticulously accounted for and neatly prepared for every show. His attention to detail and passion for his craft make him an invaluable member of our team.

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Rhamel to get to know him a little better. Here’s what he shared with us:

1. What inspired you to pursue a career in A/V & Production?

Rhamel’s journey into the world of audio and production began with his deep love for creating music. “I wanted the ability to master production of audio in any forum,” he explained. This passion has fueled his commitment to excellence in his role, where he continuously hones his skills and knowledge.

2. What’s your favorite part of your job?

For Rhamel, the most rewarding aspect of his job is learning how everything works together and working with the gear. His curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding the intricate details of audio production are evident in everything he does.

3. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

When he’s not busy ensuring our equipment is in top shape, Rhamel enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his wife and kids. He’s also an avid music writer, finding joy in creating music even outside of his professional life.

4. What’s a fun fact that most people don’t know about you?

Rhamel has a creative side that extends beyond audio production—he’s a fan of DIY projects. In fact, he plans to create content around his DIY projects in the future, so keep an eye out for some innovative ideas from him!

5. What or Who is the biggest influence on your career?

When it comes to inspiration, Rhamel looks to his oldest son, who shares his passion for music. “I want to keep going to help him with that path by being an example,” Rhamel said. His dedication to both his family and his career is truly inspiring.

6. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

If given the chance, Rhamel would choose teleportation as his superpower—so he could be everywhere at once. His second choice would be magic, though he admits it might get boring after a while!

7. How do you stay motivated and focused in your role?

Rhamel stays motivated and focused by constantly choosing to learn and grow. This mindset not only keeps him engaged but also drives him to continuously improve and excel in his role.

8. What’s one thing you’re looking forward to this Fall?

This Fall, Rhamel is excited to celebrate a special milestone—his youngest son’s 1st birthday. Family is clearly at the heart of everything Rhamel does, both at work and at home.
